About Annelies ✍️

I enjoy nothing more than a good problem to solve, especially when the problem is unclear, not defined or not aligned. Apart from seeing users succeed, improving processes and scaling design also gives me fulfilment.

When discussing designs, I can talk about my mock-ups as if they are not my own, which allows me to make them better by listening to the underlaying meaning of feedback. I keep in mind that there’s always an end-user. Not only while designing features, but also when naming variants or communicating with stakeholders or engineers.

Form editor

By allowing users to edit their own forms, it allowed the companies’ internal process to speed up and become more efficient. It also gave users more autonomy, resulting in a stickier product and reduced support tickets and less work for our internal teams.

Automations

This project from 2020 enabled customers to set up their own workflows within the CRM, reducing on-boarding resources and support requests.

Events and bookings

By introducing a feature that allows users to create one-on-one bookings where their end-users can book online, it reduced the need for third-party tools and sped up our users’ workflow. As part of this case study we also improved the UX of the current events module which resulted in faster event creation and increased usability of the products involved.

A new task experience

In 2021 I redesigned a CRM’s tasks section with the main focus of speeding up the users’ daily workflow. This was done by allowing them to easily assign tasks to other staff members and faster filtering through all tasks within their system.

Analytics at a glance

This 2019 project included the creation of a dashboard where customers can log in to view the performance of their website, social ads and other paid products they have with the company. I was the sole designer of a desktop and mobile dashboard to give users quick access to their stats.
